Stealthy Warriors

Rassie van der Dussen: The South African middle-order batter has just played in one match in IPL 2022. But his general T20 record speaks volumes of his abilities as a batter. In 34 T20 games, he has scored 933 runs at an average of 38.88 and a strike rate of 130.86. Although not fully explored in IPLs, van der Dussen can be an essential and valuable pick for the match.

Kuldeep Sen: Kuldeep Sen impressed everybody with his composure when asked to bowl the last over against Lucknow. The young man showed enough skills and intelligence to defend 15 runs in the final over of the previous match. He is a new and impressive talent and can be expected to give good returns if on the team.

Imposters:

Matthew Wade: Matthew Wade is looking entirely out of touch in the tournament. In the four matches he has played so far, he has scored 56 runs at a strike rate of 98.25 and an RPI of 14. The type of form he is in will result only in negative points if kept in the team.

Darshan Nalkande: In the five overs that Nalkande has bowled so far in IPL, he has given away 59 runs at an economy of 11.42 and has picked up just two wickets. He is not looking effective with the ball in hand and is leaking too many runs. His presence on the team will result in negative points. So, even if the franchise decides to back him, Fantasy players should try and avoid the bowler.
