IPL 2022 | Lucknow Super Giants- Fantasy Tips

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are one of the two new franchises in IPL 2022. KL Rahul-led team will look to impact their debut season, and their first encounter is against the other debutants, Gujarat Titans.

We will look at the players who could give us good returns and who would be not so profitable for the fantasy leagues.

Untamed: If a Fantasy player doesn’t want to miss out on valuable points, he must pick these players as they will give good returns most days.

KL Rahul: The skipper of LSG will be the most crucial factor in their batting. Rahul has an average of 47 fantasy points per game. This makes him the most valuable and essential pick from the team.

Quinton de Kock: In IPL, de Kock averages 31 and scores at a strike rate of 131, making him a quick and consistent scorer. His consistency in giving good returns in fantasy sports is evident. This makes him a must pick for fantasy players.

Shilly Shally: This category is essential for fantasy players who love to take risks.

Evin Lewis: Lewis appears to be a backup option, with Rahul and de Kock at the top. He has a strike rate of 145 in T20 cricket. His average of 27 in IPL shows that he lacks consistency. He might give significant returns on certain days, but on others, he might be a flop.

Unhailed: These players would cost fewer credits but will give good returns on most days.

Manish Pandey: Pandey will be the anchor for Lucknow in the middle-order. He bats with a strike rate of 123 and has an average of 32. He also gives a return of 30 fantasy points per game. So he can be the filler in a team, giving valuable points in the process.

Deepak Hooda: Last season, we saw a match where Hooda not being able to score four runs off three deliveries. He is believed to be a player with a lot of potential, but his performance in the IPL shows that he succumbs under pressure. So, it’s better to avoid Hooda.

Ravi Bishnoi: The young leg-spinner impressed everybody with his leg-spin last year. He gives 27 fantasy points per game. Being an economical bowler, he will be a good pick for any team.

Stealthy Warriors: This category of players still perform at their full potential in the IPL.

Dushmantha Chameera: Dusmantha Chameera will be making a debut in IPL. He has a bowling average of 27. The batters not having played against him could be X-Factor.

Imposters: These players are the weak links of their team and will be giving negative points to the fantasy players who pick him.

Krunal Pandya: In his initial years in IPL, he gave Mumbai Indians some great finishes. But in the last three years, he has lost his consistency. In the previous season, he scored at an average of just 14 and a strike rate of 116.26. So, keeping him in the team might turn out risky as there is no guarantee of how much returns he will give.
