IPL 2022 | GT vs DC | Match Preview, Prediction, Probable XI, Fantasy XI

The Gujarat Titans will have a face-off with the Delhi Capitals in the 10th game of the Indian Premier League on Saturday (April 2). Both the teams had a great start to their respective campaigns.

While Gujarat defeated the other debuting team Lucknow Super Giants, in their opening game, DC opened their account with a stunning victory over the Mumbai Indians through the incredible batting performances of Axar Patel and Lalit Yadav.

Delhi had a serious batting collapse against MI as they lost five wickets, scoring just 42 runs in the span of 38 balls. Rishabh Pant's skipper needs to guide the other batters to resolve their middle-order woes.

Gujarat, although kept things tight in the first 14 overs against LSG, conceded 68 runs in their last six overs. Hence, they need to work on their bowling at the death.

Now coming to the team news. As Mustafizur Rahman and Lungi Ngidi will be available for DC, they are expected to make at least one change by bringing one of these two bowlers, preferably the latter, in place of Kamlesh Nagarkoti. Mandeep Singh, who got dismissed for a duck against MI, might get replaced by KS Bharath.

On the other hand, Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans will probably go with an unchanged XI as the side that played the curtain-raiser looked more or less a balanced unit.

Match details

Match: Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capitals, Match 10

Venue: MCA Stadium, Pune

Date and Time: April 2nd at 7.30 pm IST

Live streaming: Star Sports network and Disney+Hotstar

Pitch report

This venue's average first innings total in the T20s is 153, which considerably falls to 128 in the 2nd innings. The MCA Stadium is the solitary ground in which the team batting first has won the match in this IPL as the dew factor didn't seem to have any impact there. Although the batters trusted the surface bounce to play their shots in the RR vs SRH game. Considering all these facts, the team winning the toss might decide to bat first at Pune.

Probable XI

Delhi Capitals: Prithvi Shaw, Tim Seifert, KS Bharath, Rishabh Pant (c/wk), Rovman Powell, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Khaleel Ahmed, Lungi Ngidi/Mustafizur Rahman

Gujarat Titans: Shubman Gill, Matthew Wade (wk), Vijay Shankar, Abhinav Manohar, Hardik Pandya (c), David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Lockie Ferguson, Varun Aaron, Mohammed Shami

PAK vs AUS | 3rd ODI | Preview, Prediction, Probable XI, Fantasy XI

The 3rd and final ODI between Pakistan and Australia will be played on 2nd April at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The three-match ODI series is currently levelled at 1-1. The hosts suffered a significant loss in the first ODI as Australia beat them by 88 runs. However, they bounced back stronger in their next match and recorded their highest one-day international (ODI) run-chase to beat Australia by six wickets. Shaheen Afridi shined with the ball as he took four wickets while conceding 63 runs in his quota of 10 overs for Pakistan. Babar Azam led from the front and scored an 83-ball 114, while Imam-ul-Haq smashed a 97-ball 106 runs to chase down a 349-run target with six balls to spare. After putting to bat first, Australia lost their captain Aaron Finch for a golden duck. Travis Head and Ben McDermott then steadied the ship as they put on a 162-run partnership. Marnus Labuschagne also smashed a half-century, while Marcus Stoinis notched 49 runs. Australia is not playing with a full-strength squad, but still, they outplayed the hosts in the first ODI and looked decent in the second game. On the other hand, Pakistan already cleared their intentions in the second ODI. So the series decider promises to be a thriller on Saturday with the series at stake. Pitch Report The pitch at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, was a batting paradise in the first two ODI games. There is nothing much on offer for bowlers. The team batting first would look to post 330-plus runs on board, given the dew factor that comes in the latter stages of the game. Overall, we can expect a high scoring thriller on Saturday. IPL 2022 | MI vs RR | Match 9 - Preview, Prediction, Probable XI, Fantasy XI

To continue their winning run in the tournament, Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 9th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai. Yet again, MI did not have a great start to their IPL 2022 campaign as they were outplayed by Delhi Capitals (DC) in their first game. The five-time champions carried on their unwanted record of losing their season opener. After putting to bat first, they posted 177 runs on the scoreboard, thanks to their openers Ishan Kishan (81 off 48) and Rohit Sharam (41 off 32). DC, in reply, chased down the score with ten balls to spare. Mumbai's bowling looked off-colour against DC's lower middle-order. Jasprit Bumrah, one of the most experienced Mumbai blokes, got bashed as he gave away 43 runs in 3.2 overs. Rohit Sharma's decision of giving the 18th over to Daniel Sams backfired as he got some serious beating by Lalit Yadav and Axar Patel. On the other hand, the Royals are coming off a substantial 61-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). They shined in all three departments against Kane Williamson and co. Sanju Samson, Devdutt Padikkal, Shimron Hetmyer, and Jos Buttler performed well with the bat, while Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna excelled with the ball. Rajasthan Royals must be riding high on confidence after their massive win over SRH in their opening game. They must be looking to sustain the momentum against Mumbai Indians as well. Therefore, the five-time winners would need to put on a better show with the bat, especially considering how good Rajasthan's bowling and batting lineup is. Match Details Match: Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals, Match 9 Venue: Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai Date & Time: April 2nd at 3:30 PM IST and local time Live Streaming: Star Sports Network and Disney+Hotstar Pitch Report The Dr DY Patil Sports Academy pitch is a good one to bat on. The surface looked a bit dry in the last game and helped spinners in the later hours. We can expect the same for this game as well. Overall, a batting track will be on offer while the team winning the toss should look to field first. He is expected to bat at three, replacing Anmolpreet Singh. Rajasthan Royals: After the way they played against Hyderabad, it's doubtful that RR will change their winning combination.
