With just days to go before Pakistan's next Test assignment, a major setback has rocked the team. Their star wicketkeeper-batter has been sidelined by injury. However, this injury poses a critical situation in their quest for redemption.

Star Wicketkeeper Batter Suffers Injury Blow

Lately, Pakistan and setbacks seem inseparable. As they gear up for their home Test series against the West Indies, another blow has struck the team. Young wicketkeeper batter Haseebullah Khan suffered an injury during the practice session, leaving the squad in trouble.

The unfortunate incident unfolded during a practice session when a ball struck Haseebullah’s hand, causing a serious injury. That has become a huge disappointment for the youngster as he has been ruled out from the upcoming two-match Test series.

As the home side is set to take on the West Indies side in a two-match Test series starting from January 17, young wicketkeeper-batter Haseebullah Khan who has already represented the nation in the limited-over cricket, was poised to join the squad alongside Mohammad Rizwan. However, a sudden injury has dashed his hopes. No Pakistan has to depend solely on Rizwan.
