Harmanpreet Kaur becomes fourth women cricketer to score 3000 T20I runs

Indian women's skipper Harmanpreet Kaur has been one of the most reliable batters in international cricket for the past decade as she has thumped runs in all formats for her side.

The right-hander is currently playing the World Cup game against Ireland women where she achieved a remarkable feat while batting. The Punjab-born playing in her 150th T20I game recorded 3000 international runs in the shortest format.

By doing so, she became the fourth player in women's cricket to etch her name in history with some of the big names above her.

The 33-year-old has batted with an average of 28 while batting at a strike rate of 106 scoring nine half-centuries and one century in the career that began in 2009.

Currently ranked 12 in the Women's T20I rankings, she first led the Women in Blue during the year in 2012.

Recently, she was acquired by Mumbai Indians franchise before the inaugural season of the Women's Premier League for ₹1.8 Crore.
