Indian all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, took to Twitter to commemorate the remarkable 10th anniversary of India's victorious ICC Champions Trophy 2013 campaign. On this day, a decade ago, former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni, completed his ICC trophy cabinet by winning the coveted ICC Champions Trophy title, making him the first and only captain to do do.

The tournament, which proved to be a watershed moment in Jadeja's burgeoning international career, displayed his prodigious talents to the cricketing fraternity. Emanating from that historic final against England, where rain truncated the match to a mere 20 overs per side, Jadeja emerged as the highest wicket-taker in the tournament and deservingly claimed the prestigious Player of the Match award.

Celebrating the win, Ravindra Jadeja posted a picture on his Twitter account which shows the all-rounder holding two accolades, one of which is the 'Player of the Match' trophy that he earned through his phenomenal performance in the final and the other is the Golden Ball he won for grabbing most wickets in the tournament .

Batting first, India encountered a robust challenge posed by the English swing bowlers, stumbling their way to a precarious 66/5. However, it was Jadeja, then not widely recognized for his batting, who stepped up magnificently from the lower order.

The southpaw valiantly contributed 33 runs off 35 deliveries at a crucial juncture and formed a pivotal partnership of 47 runs with Virat Kohli which helped India post a modest total of 129.

When India took to the field for the second innings, Jadeja was at the centre of it all again as he claimed the crucial wickets of Ian Bell (13), and the dangerous Jos Buttler for a duck. These crucial dismissals paved the way for a magnificent and hard-fought five-run victory for India.

Jadeja's stellar performance throughout the tournament was unmatched which culminated in a staggering tally of 12 wickets from just five matches at an extraordinary average of 12.83 and an exceptional economy rate of 3.75.
