Indian Women will lock horns with their English counterparts in a three-match T20I series, commencing on September 10.

Before this all-important series, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur has asked her teammates not to be overwhelmed by their success in the Commonwealth Games and to treat this series as a fresh start.

Notably, England will miss the services of their stalwarts; Heather Knight, Natalie Sciver and Katherine Brunt

Despite being up against a relatively weak English team, Kaur has clarified that India won't take their opponents lightly and will concentrate only on giving their best on the field.

"We did well in the Commonwealth Games, but this is a new start. We have to start from the beginning. If we have to beat England, we really have to play good cricket."

Talking about India's game plan, Kaur revealed that they would keep the batting order flexible and use the players as per the match situation.

On quizzed about players opting for a break these days to strike a balance between work and life, the dynamic batter supported the players' case and emphasised taking some time off the field for their mental well-being.

She also stressed that the Indian players would have loved to have their travelling psychologist on this tour, as she helped them be mentally healthy during the New Zealand tour and World Cup.

"It's always good to take a break instead of pushing yourself too hard. The travelling psychologist is not with the team right now. We would like to have her around. She was our go-to person during the New Zealand tour and World Cup."

Following the T20Is, both teams will clash in a three-match ODI series, starting on September 18.
