The England and Wales Cricket Board on Friday (July 5) named a 13-member England Lions squad for the four-day match against South Africa starting on 9 August. Kent wicketkeeper-batter Sam Billings will lead the 13-man side, while England men's assistant coach Paul Collingwood has been appointed as the head coach for the match.
The one-off practice game will see players leave their Hundred and Royal London one-day teams in order to play the tour game against the touring Proteas side starting on August 9.
The squad includes household names like Dom Sibley, Will Jacks, Keaton Jennings, Dan Lawrence, Craig Overton, Ollie Robinson, and Ben Duckett.
