Sri Lanka Legends (SL-L) continued their winning streak on Thursday (September 27) as they defeated Bangladesh Legends by a whopping margin of 70 runs in their final league game of the Road Safety World T20 Series to set-up a semi-final date with West Indies Legends (WI-L) on Wednesday (September 28).

Once again, it was their batters who did all the heavy lifting as they smashed the helpless Bangladesh attack to the tune of 213/5 in 20 overs.

Openers Mahela Udawatte (43 off 27) and Sanath Jayasuriya (37 off 25) got Lanka off to a sensational start with a 56-run stand in 6.2 overs.

Jayasuriya was eventually dismissed by Abdur Razzak but it did not matter one bit as Tillakaratne Dilshan came out all guns blazing.

The former opener smashed 7 fours and 1 six to race his way to a 30-ball 51. Dilshan added 63 runs for the 2nd wicket with Udawatte before adding another 46 with Chamara Silva (34* off 24).
