Developments in the ICC Women's T20I Player Rankings

West Indies captain Hayley Matthews has made giant strides on the latest MRF Tyres ICC Women’s T20I Player Rankings. She has moved up eight places to the third spot on the list for T20I bowlers on the latest rankings. This came on the back of career best figures of 4/12 during the third T20I against New Zealand at North Sound. Matthews has also moved up three spots to second on the T20I all-rounder rankings, behind New Zealand veteran Sophie Devine.


Jemimah jumps the queue 

The biggest jump on the batter rankings was made by Jemimah Rodrigues, who jumped four places to eighth after an impressive start to the Women's Asia Cup tournament currently underway in Bangladesh. She is now one of three Indian players inside the top 10 on the T20 batter rankings, a list which is headed by Beth Mooney. The other Indian batters on the list are Smriti Mandhana (third) and Shafali Verma (seventh). Harmanpreet Kaur, meanwhile, is in 13th place.

The top 10 in the ICC T20 batters’ list are – Beth Mooney, Meg Lanning, Smriti Mandhana, Tahlia McGrath, Sophie Devine, Suzie Bates, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Alyssa Healy, Chamari Athapaththu.


Top 10 ICC Bowlers

The top 10 in the ICC T20 bowlers list are – Sophie Ecclestone, Sarah Glenn, Hayley Matthews, Shabnim Ismail, Megan Schutt, Deepti Sharma, Katherine Brunt, Jess Jonassen, Nonkululeko Mlaba, Amelia Kerr.


Top 10 ICC All-rounders

The top 10 in the ICC T20 all-rounders list are – Sophie Devine, Hayley Matthews, Ashleigh Gardner, Deepti Sharma, Natalie Sciver, Kathryn Bryce, Salma Khatun, Nida Dar, Stafanie Taylor, Chamari Athapaththu.
