Barbados Royals clinched a final spot after securing a victory by four wickets against Guyana Amazon Warriors in the WCPL 2022 at Basseterre.
Royals will now face Trinbago Knight Riders in the final showdown in the wee hours of Monday.
Invited to bat first, Rashada Williams and Chamari Athapaththu got the Warriors off to a stable start. However, the dismissal of Athapaththu (19) turned the tide in the favour of Royals.
Although Stafanie Taylor remained unbeaten on a 34-ball 32, others could not provide acceleration to the innings. As a result, the Warriors ended on a total of 100 in their designated quota of 20 overs.
For the Royals, Shakera Selman and Fatima Sana scalped two wickets each.

Early in the second half, Shabika Gajnabi put Royals under the pump with a double strike to dismiss Aaliyah Alleyne (10) and Brittney Cooper (0) in quick succession.
However, the experienced duo of Hayley Matthews (22) and Chloe Tryon (19) steered the team at an asking rate. The match took another turn, with the dismissals of Matthews and Tryon.
In the end, Qiana Joseph delivered a stunning 19-ball 30*, comprising a single four and two maximums to help the team in chasing down the score, with an over to spare.
Along with Gajnabi, Shamilia Connell took two wickets as well.
