The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the men’s squad for the U-19 World Cup scheduled to be hosted in the West Indies. The junior men’s team will be led by Yash Dhull of the Delhi Capitals academy. Dhull, a top-order batter, who bowls off-spin as well is known to be aggressive without the need for being unorthodox.
The 14th edition of the tournament will be starting off on 14 January and will run till 5 February. A total of 16 teams will be participating in the competition with 48 matches being played during the course.
The BCCI have chosen to sent a 17-member squad and have added five players as reserves. India play their first match against South Africa on 15 January.
