Liam Livingstone sets eyes on playing fearless cricket for Renegades

One of England's most destructive T20 batters, Liam Livingstone is gearing up to feature in the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL) 2022-23. Livingstone, who was the first pick in the first-ever foreign draft, was snapped up by the Melbourne Renegades for BBL 12.

Livingstone's claim to fame started in the BBL with his former club Perth Scorchers during the BBL 09 and BBL 10 editions. Overall, in 28 BBL matches, the all-rounder has scored 851 runs with 55 sixes and 52 fours.

The 29-year-old looked forward to his time with the Renegades and expressed his desire to showcase his fearless approach to everyone, and help win his side the coveted trophy.

“For people that haven’t watched me, it’s a very brave way of playing. It’s not always going to go my way, but certainly having the ability to entertain people when you’re having a day out is something I pride myself on,"

“I try and entertain as many people as possible, play a fearless brand of cricket that people want to come and watch. It’s certainly the way that I try to play my cricket."

Red-hot form in 2022

Livingstone is a household in the Indian Premier League (IPL) playing for the Punjab Kings. In the last edition of the IPL, the all-rounder amassed 437 runs at a staggering strike rate of 182.08, displaying his brute strength.
