Australia have been dealt a fresh blow with Matthew Wade testing positive for COVID-19.

A report from Cricket Australia claims that Wade is currently suffering from minor symptoms and he could feature against England in a do-or-die clash.

Both teams will be under a lot of pressure to win the game and Wade's absence will be a huge blow for the Aussies. They do not have a back up wicketkeeper after the injury to Josh Inglis before the tournament.

Cameron Green was drafted as Inglis' replacement at the time.

It will be interesting to see how keeps wickets for Australia if Wade misses out. It is certainly a worry for captain Aaron Finch.

Recently, Adam Zampa missed the match against Sri Lanka with COVID-19. Australia cannot afford to lose Wade because of the lack of back up options.

The fans and the players will be hoping that Wade can get over his symptoms and return for the high-octane clash against the Three Lions.
