Australia's men's team will play 49 Tests, 52 ODIs and 63 T20Is, along with matches in ICC events, in the upcoming cycle. The ICC events will include the ODI World Cup, revived ODI Champions Trophy and biennial T20 World Cups.

"The sustained success of our men’s and women’s teams has played a key role throughout negotiations and has ultimately secured Australian cricket fans consistently high-quality international cricket over the coming years," CA's Head of Cricket Operations and Scheduling, Peter Roach told cricket.com.au.

Australia's first bilateral series is against Ireland (three ODIs, one T20I), which is scheduled to be played in Ireland in August-September 2024. Meanwhile, in the 2025-27 WTC, Australia will play England, New Zealand and Bangladesh at home; and West Indies, South Africa and India away.

Among the many visitors will be South Africa (three ODIs and three T20Is in 2025) and Afghanistan (one Test and three T20Is in 2026).

To kick off the cycle, Australia will host Zimbabwe and New Zealand for a three-match ODI series, starting later this month. They will then play a one-off Test against Afghanistan in India, and three T20Is against India on the same tour.

Between October and December, Australia will host West Indies for two Tests and as many T20Is, and England for three ODIs and as many T20Is. After the end of the T20 World Cup, Australia will again tour India in early January for a full-fledged tour.
