Australian selectors have revealed the squad for the upcoming two-match NRMA Insurance Test Series against the West Indies scheduled to be held at Perth and Adelaide. The squad has been trimmed down to a 13-player squad.
Opener Marcus Harris is making a return, meanwhile, pacers Michael Naeser, Jhye Richardson and leg-spinners Mitchell Swepson who featured in the last Ashes squad have not been included this time.
Harris has impressed the selectors and has been included in the squad after his brilliant performances in the County Championship.
National Selection Panel Chair George Bailey commented on the squad
"After some larger squads for the subcontinent tours over the winter, we have returned to a very similar squad to that which performed strongly last summer in comprehensively winning the Ashes."
