In a shocking turn of events, the Indian cricket fans were not permitted to enter the Dubai International Stadium to watch the Asia Cup final between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

Bharat Army, a regular attendee of the Indian matches home and away took to Twitter to share the treatment bestowed upon them by the security guards and the rival fans as well.

The video tweet revealed that Indian fans were pushed aside by guards and they were ordered to change their jersey to either Pakistan or Sri Lanka if they want to enter the stadium.

Furthermore, there were no official emails-messages about the guidelines to witness the action in the stands. The group have urged the ICC and Asian Cricket Council to investigate the matter.

In addition, the behaviour is surprising, given the fact that the BCCI President Sourav Ganguly is one of the chief guests for this match.

Sri Lanka lift their sixth Asia Cup title

Batting first, Sri Lanka were reduced to 58/5, against the proficient Pakistan bowling unit. However, the glorious knock of Bhanuka Rajapaksa (71* off 45) and support from Wanindu Hasaranga (36 off 21) propelled them to a score of 170.

In response to the chase, the Men in Green lost their key batters Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman early. The 71-run stand between Mohammad Rizwan (55) and Iftikhar Ahmed (32) did keep them in the hunt.

It was the Wanindu Hasaranga, who turned the tables by taking three wickets in a single over to help Sri Lanka secure their sixth Asia Cup title.
