The 15th match of the inaugural Andhra Premier League (APL) season will witness the clash between Rayalaseema Kings (RYLS) and Vizag Warriors (VZW), scheduled at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on July 13.

After the conclusion of their four league games, Rayalaseema Kings have a win and a loss each, with two of their matches getting abandoned. On the other hand, Vizag Warriors have had two defeats and two victories in the competition so far.

The Kings' previous two fixtures versus Godavari Titans and Bezawada Tigers, respectively, have been washouts. The last time Girinath Reddy and Co. were seen in action was in the match against Coastal Riders, winning by 28 runs.

Abhishek Reddy led a solo performance with the bat, setting a total of 155 runs with the help of his 52-ball 78. Skipper Reddy was on the crest of a wave with the ball, claiming a three-for to help his side secure a comprehensive victory. 

It has been a topsy-turvy tourney for the Warriors, who faced two losses on either side of their successive wins. Talking about their last encounter, it was a disappointing outing for the Ashwin Hebbar-led unit as they lost to Coastal Riders by five wickets.

In a rain-curtailed affair, VZW reached 80/8 in the allotted nine overs, with their captain top-scoring with a 28-run knock. The bowlers fared well, albeit could not pull off a win.
