Abu Dhabi T10 2022 set to begin on November 23

The sixth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 will get underway on November 23 and run till December 4. 

The eight-team tournament will be played at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi, across 12 days. 

The participating teams are Bangla Tigers, Deccan Gladiators, Delhi Bulls, Northern Warriors, Team Abu Dhabi, Chennai Braves, Morrisville Samp Army and New York Strikers. 

The opening game of the Abu Dhabi T10 2022 will witness Strikers taking on the Bangla Tigers, while Gladiators will face Abu Dhabi in the second match of the same day.

Dwayne Bravo will lead the Bulls, Rovman Powell will be the captain of the Warriors and Shakib Al Hasan will be the leader of the Tigers. Kieron Pollard will don the leadership hat of the Strikers. 

David Miller, Dasun Shanaka, Nicholas Pooran and Chris Lynn are the icon players of Morrisville Samp Army, Braves, Gladiators and Abu Dhabi, respectively. However, these teams are yet to announce their captains. 

The top two teams from the league stage will clash in the first Qualifier, with the winner proceeding to the final. The loser from Qualifier 1 will lock horns with the winner of Eliminator between the third and fourth-ranked teams. 

The tournament's last edition witnessed the Gladiators lifting the title, wherein they won the final game by 56 runs against the Bulls.
