Shreyas Iyer To Recall Nitish Rana, Suyash Sharma; KKR’s Probable XI For IPL 2024 Vs LSG

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who won three matches on the trot to kick off the proceedings in IPL 2024 before losing to CSK, will be next in action on Sunday afternoon against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Match 28 of the ongoing edition at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
KKR, under the leadership of Gautam Gambhir, seemed like a well-oiled machine in the first three fixtures, with Sunil Narine and Andre Russell – two of the old horses – playing like they were at their prime. However, barring Narine, they all disappointed altogether against the MS Dhoni-starred side, bringing a couple of worrying signs to the supporters and the think tank.

KKR may bring in Nitish Rana, who missed out on the last three fixtures due to a hand injury. Rana’s absence has been hugely felt in their middle order, and his return could send Ramandeep Singh to the bench. The chances of dropping Ramandeep are inevitable, given the fact that young Angkrish Raghuvanshi has been shining like a star.
Among other things, KKR are also expected to recall Suyash Sharma, who was ignored in the past couple of matches due to Anukul Roy’s all-round abilities. However, Suyash can perform admirably at Eden Gardens, as his past numbers at this venue suggest, reuniting Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy among the deadliest spin trio in the competition.
Others are likely to keep their places in the playing XI, as they have performed like a settled unit before coming to this LSG fixture.
