After ten action-packed contests in the 2024 Indian Premier League, we head towards Sunday doubleheader with the first game featuring Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The match is expected to slate at 3:30 PM IST. 

Both teams have won and lost a game each so far. The Titans won their opening encounter against the Mumbai Indians before losing terribly against the Chennai Super Kings. Meanwhile, SRH marginally lost their first game against Kolkata Knight Riders before winning against Mumbai Indians in a 500-plus run-feast. The recently appointed captain of the Gujarat Titans, Shubman Gill has been one of the most consistent run-getters in the IPL since a couple of years. However, he has struggled to score runs at a quick rate against Bhuvneshwar Kumar. The Indian pacer has dismissed him thrice, having conceded just 50 runs in eight overs. 

David Miller vs Pat Cummins

One of the best power-hitters in the slog overs, David Miller has had his issues against Australian pacer Pat Cummins. Having dismissed twice, the southpaw could score just 25 runs in 35 balls at a poor strike rate of 71.4. The Aussie quick was intelligent with his change of pace in the last game against Mumbai Indians and could trouble Miller once again.

Mayank Agarwal vs Umesh Yadav

With Mohammad Shami missing the IPL season, Umesh Yadav has been asked to fill his void for the Gujarat Titans. He has been decent with the ball and Sunrisers Hyderabad's Mayank Agarwal is someone who had woes against the Vidarbha pacer. The Karnataka-bred scored at a strike rate of 86.4 against Umesh while getting dismissed twice in 44 balls.

Heinrich Klaasen vs Rashid Khan (T20 and ODI)

One of the best players of spin in modern cricket, Heinrich Klaasen has been in scintillating form with the bat. He smashed 143 runs in two games for SRH and has never shied away from assaulting spin wizards like Rashid Khan. Although he has been dismissed by the Afghan spinner once in T20, he has been dismissed twice overall in the white ball format. However, Klaasen strikes at the rate of 175 against Rashid which certainly adds more excitement to this battle.
