National Stadium Karachi Is It Batting Or Bowling Friendly?

So far, in the two matches played at this venue in the ongoing season, we have witnessed high-scoring matches, with 200-plus total scored in 3 out of 4 innings. Teams prefer to bat first under lights since the ball comes onto the bat properly and in the second innins it slows down a bit.

Expect something on the similar lines as batting first will provide the batters with maximum opportunity to score runs. Under lights, in the second innings, spinners come into play and the only time batters find it tough is between the 7-15 overs. There is not much for the pacers at this venue so don't be surprised if the teams go in with a spin-heavy attack.

There is one interesting thing to note - The top order batters who get used to the nature of the surface will have it easy, while a new batter will find it tough initially to judge the bounce off the surface.

The toss winning captain might look to bat first and put some runs on the board.
