Rajasthan Royals will host Lucknow Super Giants at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday. Currently at the eighth position on the back of winning two and losing five matches this season, RR wouldn’t mind facing LSG – a team they have defeated four out of five times thus far.

What Royals wouldn’t mind either is returning to their home ground after losing three matches in a row. Super Giants, on the other hand, have won three out of their last four Indian Premier League 2025 matches. The second contest on a double-header day could see the following milestones being achieved:

50 Matches For LSG

Been with the franchise since its inaugural season, batter Ayush Badoni will become only the second player after spinner Ravi Bishnoi to play 50 matches for LSG. Notably, he is at the fifth position in the list of most runs, fourth in terms of strike rate (min. 500 balls) and third as far as most catches are concerned.

9,000 Runs In T20s

Lucknow wicket-keeper batter Nicholas Pooran is one run short of completing 9,000 runs in T20 cricket. Across 365 innings, the left-handed batter has scored 8,999 runs at an average of 29.50 and a strike rate of 150.15 with the help of three centuries and 55 half-centuries.

100 Fours In IPL

LSG opening batter Aiden Markram needs to hit six fours to complete 100 fours in the IPL. Currently into his fifth season, the right-handed batter has hit 94 fours and 44 sixes across 49 innings for three franchises.

1,000 IPL Runs

Mitchell Marsh, Markram’s opening partner, requires 40 runs to complete 1,000 runs in the biggest T20 league around the world. Having played for six franchises across nine seasons, Marsh’s IPL career has mostly been a start-stop arrangement. Currently, his 960 runs have come at an average and strike rate of 24 and 138.52 respectively.

350 Sixes In T20s

With the team still mulling over his fitness, Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson eyes a personal record ahead of what will be his 176th IPL match. Samson, who has played 302 T20s in total, needs three sixes to complete 350 sixes in his T20 career.

100 Fours In The IPL

RR vice-captain Riyan Parag, on the other hand, is eyeing 100 fours in the IPL. Yet to replicate his career-best IPL season from last year, the right-handed batter will complete 100 fours in the IPL if he manages to find five boundaries in Jaipur on April 19. Other than 95 fours, Parag also has 72 sixes to his name.

50 Fours In T20s

Royals wicket-keeper batter Dhrul Jurel requires three fours to reach 50 fours in T20 cricket. Having batted just 40 times in the format, the right-handed batter has hit 47 fours and 32 sixes as of now.

50 Catches In T20s

RR opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal and fast bowler Jofra Archer need to grab two and one catch(es) respectively to complete 50 T20 catches. While Jaiswal has grabbed 48 catches across 111 T20s, Archer has caught the ball safely 49 times across 170 matches in this format.

50 Wickets In The IPL

Among his teammates who have bowled at least 50 balls this season, Rajasthan pacer Tushar Deshpande (11.55) is the only one with an economy rate in excess of 10. If he manages to get another match, he would look to dismiss three batters to pick 50 IPL wickets since the start of his career in 2020.
