Punjab Kings are going all out for IPL 2025, and they’ve got INR 110.5 crore to spend. After a major clear-out, they kept only two players: Shashank Singh and Prabhsimran Singh.
Now, with Ricky Ponting leading the way as their new coach, Punjab Kings will be on the hunt for top all-rounders who’ll give them the edge they need. Here are three premier all-rounders whom PBKS will target during the IPL 2025 mega auction.
3. Rachin Ravindra

Why Will PBKS Target Rachin Ravindra?
Rachin Ravindra was with CSK last season and showed off his hitting skills, scoring 222 runs at a brilliant strike rate of 160.87. He’s now more experienced and familiar with Indian pitches, as seen in New Zealand’s recent tour.
Punjab could use him up top to pair with Prabhsimran, adding a left-right combo to their batting order. Plus, his left-arm spin is a bonus where he can chip in with crucial overs and grab wickets. PBKS could grab a real gem with Rachin—one who knows how to make an impact with both bat and ball.
2. Sam Curran

Why Will PBKS Target Sam Curran?
Sam Curran was with Punjab but was released, likely due to his ₹ 18.5 crore price tag. However, PBKS might still want him back, especially if they can snag him at a more budget-friendly rate with the Right to Match (RTM) card.
Last season, he scored 271 runs and took 16 wickets in 13 matches, proving his worth. He also went on to lead the side in Shikhar Dhawan’s absence. Curran’s experience and ability to handle both bat and ball make him an all-rounder that Punjab would love to have back in their lineup.
1. Liam Livingstone

Why Will PBKS Target Liam Livingstone?
Liam Livingstone is a name Punjab fans know well. The hard-hitting batter’s services were acquired by PBKS in 2022 for a huge sum of ₹ 11.5 crore. That year, Livingstone smashed 437 runs at a sensational strike rate of 182.08. Although his IPL form took a little dip in the following years, his recent international play has been top-notch.
Renowned for his colossal sixes and wily leg-spin, Livingstone can create the kind of impact Punjab desires. In recent times, the tall all-rounder has rolled his arm often and taken wickets constantly. Moreover, he’s been with PBKS before, knows the franchise, and has fan support. Bringing him back could add the all-rounder strength Punjab needs for 2025 as they chase their first IPL trophy.
