The Sunrisers Hyderabad are all set to take on the Lucknow Super Giants in the 57th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). This match will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on May 8th at 7:30 PM IST.

SRH lost their last game against the Mumbai Indians by a big margin, hampering their chances of making the top four. They need to win this match to keep their hopes alive. At this stage, the Lucknow Super Giants will be a tough side to phase as they, too, have the same objectives as SRH.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium wicket has generally been favourable for the batters. However, as the tournament has progressed, it has slowed down a tad. SRH has been outstanding at this venue in IPL 2024, and they will try to maintain the dominating track record.

Three match-winners for Sunrisers Hyderabad

Travis Head

The Australian batter has been in good form in the tournament. Travis Head has given the team some solid starts and laid the foundations for most of the team's wins. In IPL 2024, Head has scored 444 runs in 10 innings at an average of 44.40 and a strike rate of 189.74.

He has enjoyed the surface at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Head has scored 152 runs at the venue in four innings at an average of 36.4, with a strike rate of 160.0. Head's form and his numbers at the venue suggest that he will be a potential match-winner for the team.

Heinrich Klaasen

The South African middle-order batter made a great start to the tournament. But Heinrich Klaasen's form has been inconsistent in the last few games. In IPL 2024, he has scored 339 runs in 11 innings at an average of 42.37 with a strike rate of 186.26.

Klaasen enjoys batting at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The South African batter has scored 393 runs in nine matches at the venue, averaging 65.5 and having a strike rate of 194.60. In 2023, Klaasen played the only game against LSG at this same venue and scored 47 runs from 29 deliveries. The numbers and the law of average suggest that Klaasen might be a game-changer in this match.

Nitish Reddy

The young Indian all-rounder has been a significant asset to SRH during this tournament. Nitish Reddy has delivered under pressure with the bat and has done an excellent job with the ball. He has scored 239 runs in seven innings at an average of 47.80 while maintaining a strike rate of 152.22. Cummins has also trusted Reddy with a couple of overs with the ball in most matches, and he has done a good job and has also picked up a couple of wickets. The all-round ability of this player makes him a potential match-winner for the game.
