The way the Eden Gardens wicket has behaved recently will favour the big hitters. Batters like Nicholas Pooran, Quinton de Kock and Marcus Stoinis will be crucial for LSG. Given the nature of the wicket, the Super Giants hope that some of their players will take up the responsibility and lead the team towards victory.

Three Match-winners for Lucknow Super Giants

Nicholas Pooran

The West Indian wicketkeeper batter has been in great form in this tournament. Nicholas Pooran has scored 178 runs in five innings in the game at a strike rate of 167.92. He has done an excellent job against the Knights in his only match at Eden Gardens. Pooran scored 58 runs from 38 balls and will carry confidence into this match.

Besides his IPL record, Pooran's overall numbers at Eden Gardens are impressive. In three T20Is at the Eden Gardens, Pooran has scored 184 runs at a strike rate of 140.5 and an average of 61.30.

KL Rahul

So far, the LSG skipper has had a hot and cold season. But in the last two games, Rahul looked in good rhythm on a relatively difficult batting wicket. He will be looking to build on the momentum and score runs on a batting-friendly wicket at the Eden Gardens.

Rahul has been brilliant whenever he has played an IPL match at the Eden Gardens. He has scored 140 runs in three innings at the venue at an average of 46.70 and a strike rate of 155.60. The numbers and Rahul's batting position suggest that he might be one of the match-winners for LSG.

Ravi Bishnoi

The young Indian leg-spinner had a cold start to the season. But in the last game, he found his rhythm and looked good. In the only match that Bishnoi has played at the Eden Gardens against KKR, he picked up a couple of wickets, conceding 23 runs in his four overs. Bishnoi will carry the confidence into the game and might emerge as a game-changer for LSG in the match.
