The Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face the Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). This match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 22nd at 7:30 PM IST. 

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru have already scripted a fairy tale in the tournament. They won only one of their first eight games and were at the cusp of elimination. But two convincing wins against the Titans gave the team the momentum to turn the tables around. They have won six games on the bounce and made the playoffs as the fourth team. The RCB management would like the momentum to continue until the summits clash as they lift their first IPL trophy.

Virat enjoys batting at the Narendra Modi Stadium. In the IPL, Kohli has scored 124 runs in four innings at an average of 41.30 and a strike rate of 127.80. He also scored a brilliant Hundred against the Royals when the last time these two teams met. The numbers and his current form thus suggest that Kohli could be a match-winner for RCB in the match. 

Rajat Patidar

The young Indian middle order batter has been one of the prime reasons behind the dramatic turn around of RCB in the campaign. Rajat Patidar has been in brilliant form and has played a vital role in solidifying the RCB middle order. Besides, his current form the numbers are also in favour of Patidar. He has scored 120 runs in three innings at the NMS at a strike rate of 127.70. Patidar has also done well against the Royals. He has scored 74 runs against them in two matches at a strike rate of 127.60. So looking at the numbers we can say that Patidar's impactful performance will continue in this game.

Cameron Green

The Australian all-rounder has made some valuable contributions in the tournament. Cameron Green's batting in the middle order has added to the strength of the team alongside Rajat Patidar's good form. Green has also contributed with the ball bowling some efficient and effective spells. 

Cameron Green has scored 49 runs against the Royals in two matches at a strike rate of 153.10. He has also scored 63 runs at a strike rate of 137.0 in two innings at the NMS. So, these numbers show that his batting might come in handy for the Royal Challengers in the match.
