The caravan travels from the south to the north-eastern area of the country at the Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati. The third T20I between India and Australia will set to take front-seat after the hosts lead the tally 2-0. The game is slated to begin at 7:00 PM IST.

Australian batters were brilliant in taking advantage of the good batting conditions. But its the bowling that failed to stamp authority at the need of the hour. In the opening T20I, Josh Inglis hammered a century and Steve Smith struck a fifty. The middle order stepped up in the second game, but it was too late to do the task of chasing a gigantic goal of 236 runs.

India won the first T20I in a nail-biter at Visakhapatnam. It was followed by another victory in Trivandrum by a margin of 44 runs. Both locations have had over 400 runs tallied across both innings. Dew has aided batting while making it tough for bowlers to execute their strategies.

The Indian spinners were excellent in the previous T20I and helped shape the defense. The top and middle-order batsmen have delivered when their team needed them most, with Rinku Singh doing admirably as a finisher.

Will there be any changes to the Playing XI of India? Let us have a quick look.

Openers: Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad

The new opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad seems to be working well for India. The duo raced to the team fifty runs mark within the four overs in the last match. Jaiswal was brilliant in taking the assault to the bowlers and stitched a fifty with a strike rate of over 200.

Meanwhile, Gaikwad grafted the innings at the start and played second fiddle to Jaiswal initially. He accelerated after the southpaw got out and ensured a fifty under his belt. It wouldn't make sense to tinker with what's working for India.

Middle Order: Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma and Rinku Singh

The Indian middle order has coupled well with the top order in the first two T20Is against India. While Suryakumar Yadav scored a brilliant 80 in the first game, Ishan Kishan continued the assault in the second T20I after Jaiswal got dismissed. Tilak Varma and Rinku Singh have not scored big numbers but their cameos have been invaluable to the team. Especially, Rinku has been outstanding at the lower middle order, finishing games for the team.

All-rounder: Axar Patel

The Indian All-rounder will be key with both ball and bat in hand. Although he did not get adequate runs in the first T20I, Patel was key with his left-arm finger spin. The orthodox spinner was economical and helped to exert pressure on the opposition when other bowlers were getting belted for runs.

Bowlers: Ravi Bishnoi, Mukesh Kumar, Arshdeep Singh and Prasidh Krishna

Ravi Bishnoi is going to be the primary spinner of the team and bagged a three-fer in their last game against the Kangaroos. He is an attacking spinner and has the knack for wickets. Bishnoi shall be accompanied by the pace trio of Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar and Prasidh Krishna. The latter gained three wickets in the last match and seems to be gaining confidence. Mukesh was economical in the first game while Arshdeep has the ability to bowl in various phases.
