After incurring four consecutive defeats, Pakistan will take on Bangladesh in their seventh group-stage match of the 2023 World Cup. Led by Babar Azam, the Men in Green had a magnificent start to the tournament, securing thumping wins over the Netherlands and Sri Lanka in Hyderabad. However, nothing has gone right for Babar Azam's men since then, as they have been disappointing across departments against the higher-ranked sides.

Meanwhile, as per emerging reports, Hasan Ali, who missed out on the last game owing to fever, has fully recovered and will be available for this game. In such a scenario, Pakistan might consider dropping Haris Rauf, who has been poor with the ball throughout the marquee event.

Although he has picked ten wickets, his economy rate of 6.82 in six matches has let the team down in crucial junctures. So, considering how Mohammad Wasim Jr bowled in the last game, Pakistan will likely drop Rauf if Hasan Ali comes back.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Nawaz had another disastrous outing with the ball, while Usama Mir bowled impressively against South Africa. Therefore, given they have decent batting till number eight, Pakistan might drop Nawaz, roping in Mir as Shadab Khan's bowling partner.
