The following players might be the main performers in the match.

Sydney Thunder

Alex Hales: There was a lot of hope for the English opener in the first match to score big in the opener, but he failed to do so. Hales will be looking to make a strong bounce back in this match and his record against the Strikers suggest that he might well succeed in regaining his form in this match.

Gurinder Sandhu: The Big Bash League is an arena where Sandhu excels. He showed it with his performance in the first match. He bowled 4 overs and just conceded 23 runs in them while picking up 2 wickets and also did a great job with the bat in hand scoring 20 runs off 16 balls under pressure.
