With an aim to encourage pay parity in women’s cricket, the tournament’s prize for the winning USD 4.48 million, approximately 39.75 crore in Indian rupees.
The total prize pursue set for the tournament is catching eyeballs for the 297% increase in the total prize pool compared to the USD 3.5 million announced for the 2022 edition.

This year’s tournament will follow a round-robin format, with all eight teams playing each other once. The top four teams will then advance to the knockout stage, consisting of two semi-finals and the final.
Moreover, the runner-up will receive a hefty $2.24 million, approximately 19.86 crore Indian Rupees. The increase in prize money is a significant step towards achieving pay parity in cricket and is expected to further boost the growth and popularity of the women's game globally.
Semifinalist's prize money in Women's World Cup
Talking about the semifinalists, the two losing semi-finalists will take home $1.12 million (up from $300,000 in 2022) each. Moreover, each group stage participant is guaranteed to earn $250,000, while each group-stage win will get the winners $34,314. In the second half of the final table, the teams finishing fifth and sixth will take home $700,000 each, and those in seventh and eighth place will earn $280,000.
