Notably, the World Cup-winning Indian captain has been signed as the brand ambassador of the 'Go Chase' campaign by Asian Footwears. When he was announced as the face of the campaign, Dhoni was seen addressing the fan requests for him to continue playing the grandest T20 league in the world in his unique way.

MSD's Retirement And The Long-going Discussions

While he was talking to the host, a fan from the crowd shouted -"Sir you have to play IPL 2026". The host repeated the sentiment of the fan, to which MSD replied - "Arrey mere jo ghutno mein dard hain uska care kon karega (Who will take care of my knee injury)." This brought a light moment in the event. 

There have been talks about MS Dhoni continuing his career well beyond his abilities for some time. Some critics and experts believe that the Indian legend has already stretched his IPL career far more than necessary.
