Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has expressed his gratitude towards Virat Kohli. Just before the heavyweight clash between two neighbouring sides, Babar's words have won the hearts of millions of fans across the border.

Babar has been one of the best all-format batters in today's time. He'll be coming into the match with a strong 151-run performance. Just prior to that match, he once again shared his views on Virat Kohli. And their fans are going gaga over it.

Speaking about the Indian batter, Babar told the press the amount of help he got from Virat Kohli. He's thankful to him for that. Speaking to the media, he shared they first met during India-Pakistan's World Cup match at Manchester in 2019. Interestingly, both the teams haven't faced each other in this format since then. For Babar, life will come to a full circle tomorrow. Now, he not only leads the team but also their batting mainstay.

Back then, Babar asked Virat about different aspects of batting. Virat patiently replied to this query and made him understand. It touched Babar's heart a lot, to see someone like the stature of Kohli helping him. Since then, ICC's top-ranked ODI batter has attained new heights in his cricket career. Both shared a mutual respect and admiration for each other. Even, Kohli acknowledges Babar's humility.

Babar and Kohli share similar cricketing trajectories, both coming through ranks of age group cricket. Then under 19 days, he was drafted into national squad at a young age and most importantly delivered exceptional performances consistently.

During Saturday's clash, cameras will be on both of them. Fans expect to see them perform the best for their respective countries. Maybe post-match, we can get to see both of them again sharing good times.
