“I've talked a lot about Babar bhai over the past two years. He treats everyone equally and makes batting partnerships enjoyable. I always plan my approach according to who I'm batting,” Ayub said.

Shares Excitement For PSL

After a tough ankle injury during the Test series against South Africa sidelined him for six weeks, Saim Ayub is back with a bang. In the first two matches of PSL, he scored 56 runs. As he returns to the PSL arena, he shares his excitement to rejoin the Peshawar Zalmi squad.

“I waited a whole year for this opportunity. Playing alongside local and international stars and gelling with the team – it's been an incredible learning experience. The team culture of Zalmi is fantastic; we, as a team, enjoy every moment together,” he said.

After two consecutive defeats, Peshawar Zalmi has slipped into the last position of the points table with a net run rate of -4.550. As they are set to face the Multan Sultan in the upcoming clash, he will be hungry for their maiden win of this season.
