Finn Allen, who is undergoing a purple patch, continued his merry run in the ongoing T20Is against Pakistan and slammed a sensational 137 in the third encounter today, which helped New Zealand gain an unassailable 3-0 lead.

Allen having scored a fifty in the second encounter, came out all guns blazing, and punished almost every Pakistan bowler during his 62-ball stay in the middle, especially targeting Haris Rauf, with whom the New Zealand had struck a deal.

Allen slammed 28 runs off Rauf's second over, which included three sixes, and two fours, which was soon followed by a 23-run over. Returning for his second spell Rauf sprayed the ball all over, as Allen punished the bowler for lack of discipline, which included a 105 m monstrous six as well.

The former RCB batter, who fell for 137, speaking during the mid-innings break, talked about his deal with Rauf, which ended up being broken from both sides.

As quoted by Cricket Pakistan, Allen stated how Rauf promised not bowl any bouncers against the former, and the batter won't hit the latter for sixes.

He bowled me a bumper, so all deals were off the table - Finn Allen

“Yes, we had a bit of a deal before the series that he [Rauf] wouldn’t bowl me any bumpers and I wouldn’t hit any back at him. He bowled me a bumper, so all deals were off the table. The six I hit off Rauf towards cow corner was my favourite,”

With this 137, Allen is now the leading run-getter in the T20I series with 245, ahead of Babar Azam (181).
