On Thursday, legendary Indian batter Virat Kohli took the social media by storm, sharing his 10th grade mark sheet. Kohli, who studied in the Saviour Convent School in Paschim Vihar, took to his Koo handle, sharing the mark sheet with a heartfelt message.

Notably, Kohli has found prolific success as India's leading batter across formats since debuting in 2008. Statistically, the stylish right-handed batter has amassed more than 25000 international runs, establishing himself as one of the legends of the game.

However, the Delhi-born, who is gearing up for the IPL 2023 in the RCB camp, surprised everyone by posting his 10th mark sheet on Thursday. But interestingly, the mark sheet had no mention of sports, a field in which the stalwart has pursued his career.

So, in his caption, Kohli wrote,

"It's funny how the things that add the least to your marksheet, add the most to your character. #LetThereBeSport."

From his post, it was clear that he wanted sports to be prioritised in the school curriculum, as it ensures the holistic development of children.

Thus, the 34-year-old appealed the Indian education system to allow children spend some time in the playgrounds, as every individual is unique and a good academic result doesn't ensure all-round development of children.

Meanwhile, Kohli will represent Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2023. Led by Faf du Plessis, RCB will begin their campaign against Mumbai Indians on April 2.
