India designed their bowling taking inspiration from us, believes Ramiz Raja

Since his departure from PCB's top chair, Ramiz Raja has been pretty vocal about India and Indian Cricket, both in positive and negative connotations. During his time as PCB Chairman, he had referred to India as a billion-dollar team and beating them was Pakistan's biggest achievement under him.

The former Test cricketer has again spoken against the Indian team and mocked them for copying Pakistan's approach in T20I cricket.

As per Raja, the Indian think tank has been greasing bowlers to be like their Pakistan counterparts.

"It often feels like India took a look at Pakistan and designed their bowling attack the same way. Umran Malik has pace just as Haris Rauf and Arshdeep (Singh) brings the left-arm angle like Shaheen Afridi," the 60-year-old mentioned.

"(Mohammad) Wasim Jr. chips in during the middle overs and so does Hardik Pandya, both have the same pace as well. Shivam Mavi also plays the role of a supporting bowler."

Meanwhile, the former PCB Chairperson also went on to applaud India's newly-crowned poster boy, Shubman Gill, who broke multiple milestones with his maiden T20I century against New Zealand.

"It was a big performance from Shubman Gill and you can see the glimpses of greatness. He plays proper cricketing shots even while hitting big sixes. Looking at his safe hitting you get a feeling that he can even dismantle the better pace attacks in the world. This is a classy addition," he concluded.

After skittling the Blackcaps at home, India's next assignment is against Australia in a four-match Test series, which commences at Nagpur on February 9.
