IND vs SA: Shreyas Iyer's high-quality knock has got Twitter talking

With the series on the line, India had to chase down 279 against the Proteas in a crunch game in the 2nd ODI where Shreyas Iyer stood up to produce a magnificent 113* runs off 111 deliveries smashing 15 fours to achieve the landmark. 

Not just Iyer, but Ishan Kishan also played a terrific 93-run knock to stitch a 161 run partnership for the third wicket, helping India ease their way to victory, thus, levelling the series.

Earlier known to struggle against short deliveries, Iyer managed to overcome his weakness to play a defining knock. His heroics helped the Men in Blue finish the match inside 46 overs, earning high acclaim from the critics and fans of the game.

After two thrilling contests, the series will now move to Delhi for the third and final ODI scheduled to take place on 11th October which is going to be the last game for India before the all-important epic clash against the arch-rivals Pakistan in ICC T20 World Cup 2022.
