ICC T20I Bowling Rankings: Wanindu Hasaranga edges past Rashid Khan, claims top-spot

In the latest ICC T20I Bowling Rankings Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga has displaced Afghanistan's Rashid Khan at the no.1 spot. Hasaranga claimed 15 wickets in the ongoing tournament, where Sri Lanka bowed out of the Super 12 stage. 

Khan replaced Australia's Josh Hazlewood ahead of the marquee event but suffered had a poor tourney, picking up just four wickets. Hazlewood comes in a close third, followed by South Africa's Tabraiz Shamsi and Australia's Adam Zampa, who close off the top five places. 

This is the second time that the Lankan spinner has claimed the numero uno position, after claiming the No.1 position in September 2021. Overall, the leg-spinner has picked 86 T20I wickets in 52 matches, at an average of 14.49.

No Indian bowler is included in the Top 10, however, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravichandran Ashwin occupy the 12th and 14th spots. 

India's most impressive bowler in this tournament, Arshdeep Singh moved one place above to 23rd position. 

Surya Kumar Yadav continues to lead the ICC T20 Batting Rankings ahead of Mohammad Rizwan and Devon Conway.
