England's newest batting sensation Harry Brook was adjudged as the player of the series for his heroics with the bat throughout the course of the seven-match series between Pakistan and England.

England emerged victorious with a thumping 67-run win over Pakistan in the seventh T20I in Lahore on Sunday to secure a closely contested series by winning with a margin of 4-3.

Brook, dropped on 24 by Pakistan's skipper Babar Azam off Haris Rauf's bowling, struck four sixes and a four in his 29-ball innings and stitched a match-winning partnership for the fourth wicket with Malan in 10.1 covers. Although he was eclipsed on the night by Malan who finally found a proper way to convert his starts into big scores.

English openers Phil Salt and Alex Hales started from where they left off in the previous game to set the tone with another fine start.

However, both of them fell within two balls of each other but Dawid Malan, Ben Duckett, and Harry Brook simply carried on the carnage to make sure that Pakistan would need to make a record score to win. In reply, Pakistan faltered again with the bat to hand over the historic series win to England.

In a must-win encounter, Brooks shared a brilliant unbeaten partnership of worth 108 with Malan, as the pair closed out the innings in stunning fashion by scoring 60 runs in the last five overs of the first innings.

The Yorkshire-based batter broke Malan's record for the most runs by an Englishman in a bilateral T20I series. Brook finished the series with 237 runs at 79 and a blistering strike rate of 163. His scores in the series read- 42*(25), 31(19), 81*(35), 34(29), 4(9), DNB, 46*(29).
