Once labeled as a Test bowler, Bangladesh's Ebadot Hossain is making his presence felt in white-ball cricket as well. Hossain starred with the ball in the first One-Day International (ODI) against Ireland, claiming four wickets in a match-winning effort.

Bowling coach Allan Donald has heaped praise on the youngster, seeing his rise since 2019. Hossain was instrumental in Bangladesh's only Test win in New Zealand, where he scalped seven wickets.

Ahead of the third ODI against the Irish team, as quoted by Cricbuzz, Donald backed Hossain to become an all-format bowler for Bangladesh in the coming time.

The 29-year-old, who has been picked for the upcoming 20-overs series, has played 18 Tests, 7 ODIs, and 4 T20Is.

Here's what Donald said

"He has kept on being impressive and if you say there's one area he needs to improve on, I'm still trying to find it. But what's pleasing is Ebadot is always in the game and it doesn't matter if he goes for four or six. You know he is in the wickets column every single game.

He's an athlete with a great engine on him and a great kid to work with. Love working with him, a wonderful talent. He won a fast bowling competition to come to where he is now. He could consistently become a member in all three formats,"

Donald himself has been lauded by many for improving Bangladesh's pace bowling unit, which adds another dimension to their spin-heavy attack.

Bangladesh and Ireland met in the final ODI today, where the hosts' routed the visitors by 10 wickets to win the series 2-0.
