English Women will lock horns with their Indian counterparts in the second T20I of the three-match series in Derby tomorrow at 11.00 PM IST. 

In contrast to people's expectations, India suffered a crushing nine-wicket defeat in the first game. The long Indian batting unit could post only 132 runs on the board, which England chased without breaking a sweat, courtesy of a tremendous half-century from Sophia Dunkley. So, the Women in Blue would like to identify their loopholes and fill them in time to stay alive in the series.

Pitch Report: The surface at the Derby County ground assisted the spinners to a great extent, with English leg-spinner Sarah Glenn grabbing a spectacular four-fer in the first game. Many people had anticipated the inexperienced English batting unit to surrender to the robust Indian bowling unit. However, the young opener Sophia Dunkley rose to the occasion, slamming a gorgeous 44-ball 61*. 

Her magnificent knock proved enough to make the visitors bite the dust and gain England a crucial 1-0 lead in the series. In the absence of the experienced Heather Knight and Natalie Sciver, the hosts will once again depend on Dunkley to sustain their winning momentum. 

Key Players

Sarah Glenn was exceptional with the ball in the first T20I, scalping four wickets for just 23 runs.

Deepti Sharma top-scored for India in the previous match, piling up 29 runs with three boundaries. 

Alice Capsey looked in great touch, playing an excellent cameo of 32 runs with the help of three fours and two sixes in the first T20I.
