Clinical effort of bowlers help Superchargers to claim first victory
Spirit started on a bright note with the presence of Beth Mooney and Grace Scrivens. The duo added 48 runs for the first wicket, before Scrivens made her way back to the hut for a run-a-ball 18.
Soon, Healy ran out her Australian team-mate Mooney (30) to provide a major breakthrough for the Superchargers.
Beth Mooney contributed 30 runs
Coming at number three, Kerr (16) could not take the game deep enough. However, it was a superb effort from Sophie Luff, who scored an unbeaten 39 off 30 to keep the team in the hunt for chasing down the score.
However, the tail-enders lost wickets in crunch moments, resulting in Superchargers winning the game by five runs. Alice Davidson Richards took two wickets for Superchargers.
