I can’t wait to join up with my new teammates, it’s a new opportunity for me and my family, and I hope I can contribute in all formats," said de Lange.

Since becoming an official County team in 1890, Gloucs have never won a Championship title. In the 2022 season, they have registered no victories in 11 appearances and are languishing at bottom of the points table.

The signing of experienced de Lange might help the team in acing crunch moments and he could mentor the young players over the next three years as well .

Furthermore, the veteran fast bowler has translated his red-ball success into the white-ball format and will be valuable for the team in various limited-overs competitions.
