Mohammed Shami in 3rd T20I (Source:@toisports/X.com)
India and England are two powerhouses of world cricket, and the T20I series is living upto the billing with both teams exchanging blows. The caravan has now reached Pune with India leading the series 2-1, and it promises to be another cracking encounter.
For Starters, England have won the toss and have elected to bowl first with two changes in their XI. India, on the other hand, have made three changes. Arshdeep Singh has been replaced by Mohammed Shami while Rinku Singh comes in for Dhruv Jurel. Washington Sundar is also out and India have added more firepower in the form of Shivam Dube.
India Make Three Changes With Series On Line
Talking about Mohammed Shami's exclusion, it is because he looked bit rusty in the last game and went wicketless in the three overs he bowled. As India are playing with only one frontline pacer, they needed an in-form bowler and so they have decided to bring in Arshdeep Singh back.
Also, one of the reasons for Arshdeep Singh's inclusion in place of Mohammed Shami is that India lost the last game, and they cannot risk losing another one. So, India have preferred to go with their striongest XI and Shami can be back for the final T20I if India go onto win the game in Pune.
