The Australian crowd has been on the nerves of the Indian cricket team and their fans. From sledging Indian superstar Virat Kohli to boo-ing Mohd. Siraj, the India Tour of Australia has not lacked in terms of entertainment. Cricket between these two heavy-weights has been a replication of absolute cinema and a glimpse of this was seen as Siraj's fiery send-off ruled at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Labuschagne had been a massive head-ache for the Rohit Sharma led-side as he slammed a brilliant 70-runs against the formidable Indian bowling line-up in their second innings. His breakthrough was crucial from India's perspective as he was steadily building a destructive partnership alongside Pat Cummins.
In the 56th over, Siraj bowled an over the wicket, back of a length delivery at the fourth stump. It nipped back sharply after pitching. Marnus was caught on his crease as he looked to fend off the back foot. Unfortunately for him but fortunately for India, he got beaten on the inside edge and wrapped on the back leg.
Siraj's Angry Send-Off
Umpire Michael Gough rose his finger in an instant indicating the wicket of Labuschagne. He decided to challenge the decision, however it was a big waste. Siraj's celebration took the centre-stage as he roared in aggression as he asked the Aussie crowd to boo him louder after breaking the partnership and Australia were seven down.
At the time of writing, Australia lead by 278 runs.
