Delhi Capitals' skipper Rishabh Pant had a memorable outing in his side's ongoing IPL 2024 face-off against Gujarat Titans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. 

Coming at number five, Pant played a belligerent knock to steady the ship for DC, who were reeling at 44 for three at one stage, thanks to Sandeep Warrier's bowling masterclass. 

Although the explosive southpaw struck several boundaries, his astonishing helicopter shot off Mohit Sharma grabbed the limelight. 

The incident occurred during the 16th over of the Capitals' innings when Pant and Axar Patel had formed a consolidating stand for them. 

With the game entering the slog overs phase, Pant decided to switch gears, targeting Mohit, who has been in decent form. 

The first ball from Mohit was a full-length delivery as Pant played a stunning helicopter shot. The ball was hit so powerfully that it sailed over the deep mid-wicket stand for a six. 

Eventually, Pant brought up his fifty with a humongous six off Mohit in the 18th over. Riding on his sensational knock, the Capitals have made a magnificent comeback into the game. 

As of writing, the hosts were 187 for four in 18.5 overs, with Pant and Tristan Stubbs unbeaten in the middle.
