India Women's prominent cricketer Richa Ghosh exhibited her acrobatic wicketkeeping skills as she held on to a spectacular catch to dismiss Fatima Sana in the ongoing T20 World Cup match against Pakistan Women. Known for her hard-hitting skills, Richa showcased commendable athleticism to leave the opposition skipper stunned in the high-profile face-off.

The incident occurred during the 14th over of Pakistan Women's innings when Fatima Sana was trying to up the ante alongside the experienced Nida Dar. However, the Women in Green were jolted with a massive setback, with Richa Ghosh's exceptional grab leading to their captain's downfall.

After conceding singles off her first three deliveries, India's wily spinner Asha Shobana was torn apart by Fatima, who executed magnificent sweep shots to collect two consecutive boundaries. As the right-handed batter was shuffling across and connecting the sweeps really well, Asha decided to bowl slightly wide outside the off stump.

As she tossed the ball up, Fatima once again tried to play the sweep shot. But she only managed an outside edge this time while playing it against the turn. The ball lobbed further away from Richa Ghosh, who dived to her right and completed a magnificent one-handed catch.

India Women Run Through Pakistan's Line-Up In Dubai

Riding on a stellar performance from their bowlers, India Women restricted their arch-rivals to a paltry 105-run total in this high-octane face-off. While opening batter Muneeba Ali contributed 17 runs, Nida Dar, Fatima Sana, and Syeda Aroob Shah were the only batters to breach the two-digit mark, scoring 28, 13 and 14 runs, respectively.

Considering India Women kickstarted their World Cup campaign with a loss, they would be desperate to chase down the total and get off the mark on the points table.
