However, it was Patidar's moment to shine. Positioned at deep extra cover, he displayed lightning reflexes as he darted to his left to intercept the ball.

Despite the ball soaring high towards the boundary, almost breaching the fence, Patidar showcased exceptional agility and presence of mind. With a brilliant combination of speed and anticipation, he plucked the ball from the air, ensuring it didn't cross the boundary line. But his heroics didn't end there.

In a remarkable display of commitment, Patidar, with the ball firmly in his grasp, managed to release it back onto the field of play just before his momentum carried him over the boundary cushion. The crowd erupted in cheers as the TV umpire confirmed his incredible effort, which saved four crucial runs for his side.
