Even though the IPL is a competitive T20 league like no other, you always expect a minimum amount of mutual respect. However, Delhi Capitals' co-owner Parth Jindal seemed to have lost all manners when Sanju Samson was given out by the on-field umpire during Match 56 of IPL 2024 between DC and Rajasthan Royals at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Batting on 86 off 46 balls, Samson was on a mission to single-handedly take the game away from Delhi Capitals. However, a catch taken by Shai Hope near the boundary line off Mukesh Kumar ended his stay.

When the commentators were unsure, and so were the players, Samson wanted to take the DRS despite third-umpire gave him out. In the meantime, Jindal lost his cool, and was making ridiculous gestures from the stands.

He was saying, 'go back, you're out', which looked very much unprofessional from an owner's perspective.

Samson eventually did not go for DRS despite the lack of clarity, while RR have reached 193/7 at the end of 19 overs. They require 29 runs off six balls to pull off a miraculous task.
